She recorded vocals for and co-wrote a single for Delerium, she appearred on an album with Annie Lennox and did a couple of tunes with Bryan Adams. I doubt any of those qualify as "punk" but that's as close as she's gotten to it. It's possible that her work for animal rights may have given her some exposure with Consolidated as well.
