Did Port Royal (Jamaica) mid 17th century had a symbol or flag for identification?

Pirates of the Caribbean uses a symbol for one of the companies that traded here; the East India Tradong Co., but the symbol is fully fictional. I found the actual flag they used, but was wondering if the port had any ID.
