Did Obama lie to voters when he promised to bring our troops home immediately?

(I can't wait for some brain-dead on the left to say he actually meant he'd send them to Afghanistan. That's the place where he said they were performing "midnight bombing raids" killing civilians.)

He's INCREASING deployments!
 
Yes he did, but the media will never nail him down for anything. This guy has been covered with teflon and the press will do near anything to preserve the manufactured image of their Messiah.

Obama lied about everything!! I could see right thru him. At least I can say I didn't vote for that moron!! I know a lot of people in the military and they say they are not coming home anytime soon. Did you hear that Obama wants the military to pay for their own health care! What a joke this guy is..

Hey massive mann: He did say he would start pulling them back this summer and he also said that they would all be out by the spring of 2010 well guess what that is not going to happen! By the way put some clothes on that picture of you is disgusting I could see if you had the body, but don't!!
 
he said he would remove all "COMBAT" troops remember?.....they are classified as ...."support" troops now so there are no more "combat troops in Iraq......you have to understand the level of manipulation...he never lied.........the combat troops are gone and now there are "support " troops.......smooth move
 
The plan all along for Iraq was a 16 month pullout of most the troops in Iraq. Plus he said all along, even during the campaign, that there would be a renewed interest in Afghanistan. And he's done exactly what he said he would.
 
Give us a link where he used those exact words.

and if he HAD brought them home? Limbaugh and Cheney and all the other scumbags would have been screaming about leaving the country unprotected.
 
Hey, Skippy, He NEVER said Immediately, and you know it. As the President, he said his hope was a certain timetable, and after speaking with W's Generals, he bumped it out 2 WHOLE MONTHS...So Please, Just STFU...we all have a headache with you. Goodnight.
 
I don't think that he lied about that. I believe he just with held information. Remember though: His popularity was largely based on "hearsay" reasons to vote for him. Oh my god, some of the b.s. that people came up with!
