Did my parents steal my bike?

About a month ago, I got a new bike (http://www.khsbicycles.com/05_flite_320_09.htm). My job started getting in the way of my chores so my parents thought i was lazy and they "grounded" me from my bike that I PAID FOR!!! Is this considered stealing or is this a cruel form of parenting
AND I DON'T SPEND ALL MY TIME RIDING!!! I RIDE TO AND FROM WORK!!!
 
Not at all. You live in their house. Do they ask you for rent? You eat their food, and do they ask you to pay for it. I could go on and on. It's just a little life lesson they are teaching you. It seems to be working. Do you chores, go to work and then you ride.

I think in reality, you were riding all the time. That got in the way of the chores, and if work was getting in the way of shores, they would ask you to not work or take away some chores.

Parents know how long it takes to ride from one place to another.
