Did increasing medicine dosage provide relief to your baby from acid reflux?

My 3 month old daughter was diagnosed to have acid reflux at 6 weeks. Since then she is on Domstal (Domperidone) Syrup 4 times a day. She was doing very fine since she was put on medication with absolutely no signs of reflux. Recently, when she neared the 3 month mark all her reflux symptoms like nasal congestion, gagging, coughing, hoarse throat have bounced back again. My doctor is out of town till the month end and I am so worried for my daughter.

Did this happen with any of your babies, and if so what was the remedy?
Did the doctor just increase the dosage of medicine and your baby felt better?
How long will it take for the baby to feel better with the new dosage of medicine?
