Did I really mess up on this? Or did I "dodge a bullet"?

Months ago, I was dating this girl in college and we both seemed to like each other. At first I thought she was a normal innocent type girl that doesn't party hard, do drugs, or any of that bad stuff. But my way of talking to girls I like in the beginning stages is that I would tease them and make jokes, trying to make them laugh. Being sorta mean for teasing, but in a way that they like it. Then later on when we get closer I would be nicer and ease up on the teasing and jokes..more serious. But then shes done some weird stuff like say that I'm mean but I don't think she really meant it, then her friends tell me that she says I'm too nice?! WTF?! She would lie to me that she was not on the cheerleading team, when it was so obvious she was, and goes saying that I have trust issues? Then another time we were gonna hang out after the club but she ended up leaving in a car full of guys. Shes done some pretty shady stuff during the time. But I knew she liked me cause she asked me out to go clubbing and stuff, to go out to movies, to go out and eat. And so I was really busy for a couple of weeks because finals were coming up, a new job that needed me there working, and other stuff that was keeping me busy. Had to take naps when I get free time :\ So I neglected her for those couple weeks and I guess she thought I wasn't interested so she decided to end it. We were on the phone and she ask what part of the relationship are we at, then she busted a "is it ok if we just be friends?" line.

Did I really mess up on this? Or did I "dodge a bullet"? What do you think?

She has the drama queen-princess-diva complex going on. I say you dodged a bullet. She would be good for just sex, but she would not have made a good girlfriend it seems.

Women can seem like one thing, and when you get to know them they are completely something else.
 
Nah, you didn't mess up things, she's just kinda a h*.

Go find some other sweet, wholesome girl out there and leave this one be. It's pretty obvious that she just wanted to use you while you were around; she seems like a really fake person. You'll find a girl who will like you and go with you at your own pace, don't worry.
