I am in my fnal year at school and we were given an assessment which was worth 20% of our overall mark.. so its fairly important
and i only got 33/50 which was one of the worst in my class.. and I know I didn't deserve that
And the word limit for our research paper was 1500 words and I stuck to that limit (mine was 1600)
but other kids in my class went way over the limit. one kid did 5000 words! and he got 49/50
and i just feel i was penalised because they wrote more than me and my teacher is favouritsing them
and when after class i went and told her this she just said that I shouldn't compare myself to other people. But in all my other subjects you lose marks if you go over the limit.
By the way on the feedback sheet the main risen given for me losing so many marks was that I lacked detail
well obviously I did because theres only so much detail you can out in 1500 words
