I have a Toshiba Laptop and it seems to crash and freeze a lot. I could be doing anything like on the internet, typing a paper, or playing solitaire and it'll freeze. Sometimes it will crash and a blue screen pops up. Also it take me about 5 tries to turn on my laptop before it'll will actually load. Like when I turn it on a black screen pops up and word like, "Media Check Fail" or something like that will pop up and it'll never load. I have done Launch Startup Repair and it took my computer to a point where it was working and it got rid of Google Chrome, so I'm wondering if thats the problem or do I have a fried RAM :/
Also it seems like all the problems started to happen after I started using Google Chrome. The odd thing is that Google Chrome just appeared on my desktop one day. I didn't download it and no one else plays this laptop. I just clicked on it to see what it was and I liked it and started to use it.
Also can anyone tell me what causes a fried RAM.
