Did Guitar Hero World Tour kill my Xbox 360?

When I first bought GH:WT I was stoked to start playing. About 5 minutes after I started the game my xbox shutoff and it had the 2 red lights on the left so I'm guessing that means that it is overheating. Well I tried all my other games and it seems to be that this one game in particular is the only game that causes it to turn off. I can play Rock Band 2 for hours and end and once I put in GH:WT, the whole thing shuts down. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? I don't want to send it off just for one game but I do have an incredible urge to play this game that I spent $200 on.
