As many of you TV buffs may know, The Golden Girls aired on NBC from 1985-1992, while Designing Women ran on CBS from 1986-1993. Since the recent passing of Dixie Carter, I had been wondering: Did "Golden" and "Designing" ever air opposite each other, during their original runs despite being on rival networks? Hopefully, somebody knows.
