When I was going to school, I had a very very VERY knowledable instructor who specialized in performance addons, tuning, and knew about engines even back into the 60's. He insisted that GM sold production rights to toyota to use the 5.7 (350ci) block for their vehicles. Now I am not saying every drill hole is the same, and surely the heads, etc are not the same, but this is what I was told, and people from both sides (GM people) and Import people seem to deny it. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about it?
