Did Ford ever have a "Sportsman Edition" Ranger?

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger that I bought used. I have looked it up on the internet and can't find anything. My 4x4 decals are camo and underneath it it says "Sportsman Edition".

I am wondering if Ford ever really came out with this package and what is the different from a regular XLT Ranger? (Mine is also an XLT package).
 
No, but local dealers or the dealer may have. Local dealers often come up with special editions that include aftermarket graphics and upgrades. You can contact Ford to find out who the selling dealer for your truck was and go to the link below to find out what it had when ford built it.
