I remember watching The Lion King when I was like seven. As soon as I saw talking animals I flipped out. Pinocchio was another one that scared me. The part where he gets turned into a donkey was pretty traumatizing. The worst offender would have to be The Hunchback of Notre Dame. That priest guy was pretty damn scary, especially when he is singing about making love/burning the gypsy woman.
I think Walt got his kicks from scaring the hell out of kids.
