Did Cricket open up network???

I can get into youtube.com just fine and go to the video that I am looking for but when I get into the video viewing page it says, Hello,you either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player.Get the latest Flash player. Whats up with that?
 
I live in San Diego, Ca. I went on the web today on my treo 700w and have full browsing access. Even watch a video on youtube (using Coreplayer). Has anyone else been able to browse any site? Did cricket open up web services? I have the $50.00 plan.
 
Is it safe to assume that: 1.) You change/upgrade/reset your $50 "Cricket Connect" (data) plan, and 2.) Perform an OTASP via *228, then it is plausible that you may get EVDO working?

So far OTASP is no dice for me here in Dayton, Ohio (where Cricket first started test marketing their services--those CHEATING B@STARRAB!!! :D ) Today, I'm going to first change my service to the "Cricket Connect" plan and try an OTASP. If that doesn't work, I'm going to have to pull some strings on the inside....... ;)

Would that certain product be a Q? Cause i would gladly throw down a good 500-750USD for one on Cricket. (No, I dont expect an answer. I'm in a few NDA's as well)

I cant for the life of me get opera to work.It keeps saying "Your phone model could not be detected.High memory and low memory versions of Opera mini are available."

After I clicked on the high and low version of it,it says :"MIDlet-Version: 3.1
MIDlet-1: Opera mini,/i.png,Browser
MIDlet-Data..." ETC...Can anyone help on this?

Pocket PCs can with the flash download from Macromedia...



But if this is true about Cricket opening up the gateway... I may switch... once they get EVDO, that is. I'm not ready to give up my mobile broadband.

I live in Austin and am able to surf all kinRAB of sites with my Slvr. :clapping: Although, the big ones cause my browser/phone to run out of memory!

Something is definitely going on, activation took longer than normal to complete.. although I did not get an updated PRL. What's up with that?

I think tethering via Cricket is right around the corner! ;)

We have EVDO already it is open and active on some networks already... All you need the the correct PRL which you CANNOT GET OTA. (Right now anyway...)
 
Pretty much all cricket area networks have the open browsing now. As far as i know they dropped a firewall that used to be up blocking certin browsing. I also hear that some areas WAP/1x/evdo is completly down. Tho Nothing is confirmed.
