I've been watching the news about the earthquake and while I've seen plenty of people searching, I've not seen any sniffer dogs or any heat seeking equipment. Furthermore I've not seen any international teams with such specialised equipment helping out as is usually the case. Have China done enough for their people by not using sniffer dogs or any heat seeking equipment? To my mind they don't even seem to have any kind of disaster plan and given that it's a country with a history of earthquakes, why haven't the Chinese done more? Why haven't they built up specialised rescue teams over the last 20 years with the necessary equipment? If they can afford to host the Olympics then where's the money to save the people?
