Did Bristole cost Sarah Palin and John McCain's election?

Nobody asked if Bristol had a baby with her boyfriend. But in fear of "liberal media" Sarah Palin threw her in the front of the train so she could save her political life by embarrassing her daughter. Was that morally right thing to do for Sarah Palin?
 
Okay, John McCain dumped his former wife, who was severely handicapped due to an auto wreck, cold heartily to be with his current wife. Now would that me morally right
 
Bristol was a non issue. If she would have been the unmarried, pregnant daughter of a Democrat, then she would have been an issue.
 
First of all it wasn't going to be easy being the GOP candidate after Bush. Secondly McCain really ballsed it up when he chose Palin without knowing enough about her.
