was true? In the very fact he said he would tell his staff to "Tone Down", one can deduce the Tone was overly zealous in the first place. No other Networks ABC,NBC,CBS,CNN,MSNBC,PBS have had to tell their staff to tone down about this incident. The very next day the first words out of O'Reilly's mouth wasn't for victims but against MSNBC, who never blamed anyone but the shooter and reported what CNN and all other Network and Cable news reported, a shooting by a mentally unstable man and the facts that Giffords was in the Cross Hairs on Sarah Palins target list as the last interview before election with Giffords....she was the one saying it". She herself told the news she was concerned about the vitriol coming from the Right. Real news and facts.
On the other hand, Fox News first cut off the Sherrif of Pima Counties comments in mid sentence, then played pieces later, commenting on his "talk radio" comments in which he never mentioned a word about Left or Right, and then concentrated on the fact he was a Democrat, NOT the victims. The only Network news to do so. Then they had network cash cow Glenn Beck act as proxy for Sarah Palin who is no where to be found.
So is Roger Ailes a weak leader and cannot reign in his staff or are his words nothing but lies? Tell me, if a Republican has been shot who had been interviewed prior on video that they were in someones online graphic "Cross Hairs" and were threatened prior to shooting that they would not report that? Is the reporting of an interview from Giffords herself not considered to be "News"?
Have the Fox "News" standards been lowered and not at all "Toned Down" as Ailes stated?
