Did anyone see that Mel Hall got 45 years in jail?

What was that for? I only saw part of the headlines. I best remember him for being on those bad Yankee teams in the 90s with Nokes, Kelley, Sax, Balboni ect (yeah, i was a fan during the bad times too).

A theory on this could be that Mel Hall was innocent. The guilty party was actually Chris Rock dressed up as MC Gusto from CB4 impersonating Mel Hall. Considering they both looked alike, especially with the matching jheri curls.
