Did anyone in Kansas see that strange flash of orange light?

In between 5 and 5:15am this morning (4-9-09) I happened to look to the northwest sky and I saw a giant flash or orange light about the treeline. It was horizontal and huge! I have no idea what I saw. I'm in Lawrence, so its possible that someone in Topeka/KC saw it too.
