Did any one watch the History Channel last night on the Moon Landing.?

They ran the original voice tape of the men in the capsule, and Nasa's responce to them, along with Walter Cronkite's, comments on the news.
They saw a UFO, in the distance, it was about a 100 miles from them and it did not approach them, just stayed about the same distance from them. You know the government has always made such fun about people seeing UFOs, do you feel that they think we are too stupid to know the truth? Or that we will panic?
 
It was disappointing. I would have preferred to see a well made documentary with actors recreating key scenes instead of a drama like they had last night. The movie "Apollo 13" had much better special effects 15 years ago.

I did like the fact that they used the actual recordings of the astronauts. Armstrong's "...one small step.." line is burned into my memory so I cringe when I hear an actor try and recreate it.

I've heard about the UFO but that's just what it was, an UNIDENTIFIED flying object. It could have been US or Russian space debris. Regardless, there isn't enough evidence to allow someone to reach a conclusion on what it was.

I did like the actor who played Aldrin. I guess his biggest claim to fame was a part he had on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've never really watched that show but I've seen him in other things and he's a good actor, and he was believable as a young Buzz.

Interesting note. IMDB says that the movie, which was co-produced by a UK company, was filmed in Lithuania.
