So, I drive a 93 Toyota Tercel. It's pretty much a junker - the stereo doesn't have a cassette player or anything, so I got an FM transmitter to listen to my iPod. (It's the Soundfly SD by Satechi in case that makes a difference in my question). First day, it worked great, and I got to listen to my music without radio commercials. Next time I started up the car, it started getting pretty crackly - thought something might be up with my speakers. Then sound stopped coming out, regardless of whether the transmitter was being used, or if I was just trying to listen to the radio. Then, unrelated, my car got a new battery and alternator and the radio seemed to be back to normal. On Monday, the transmitter was playing my music fine on my way to work, but on my way home and ever since there has been nothing: no sound, no static, no radio, nothing. I always use the transmitter according to its factory directions - no misuse or abuse. Any clue what's up? Seems like it must have something to do with the transmitter, but I don't know enough about sound systems to know what... HELP!
(none of the radio stations work btw)
