diarrhea/stomach discomfort from Mobic

I have been on Mobic for back pain for four days and just today I started with the dreaded diarrhea. Had been on Arthrotec for pain for knee replacment and it did the same thing. Any suggestions? Is there a smaller dose to take? I am on 10 mg daily and just started intensive pt for back pain, osteoarthritis, stenosis etc. Thanks. Sweetie66
 
You could try halving the pills...a friend of mine does that...but I do think there is a 5
mg version.

Thank you for the reply. I have a pill splitter and I think I will try that tonight. The Mobic really helps with the pain but the stomach discomfort is prohibitive in planning events. I again, thank you for your reply. Sweetie66
