Hi guys, I know this is kind of a late post, but is the first time I went to the acne posts, being in the thyroid forum for a long time.
I took Diane 35 from 11 years, did wonders to my skin, I had a terrible acne in my chin and it was absolutely hormonal related, I stopped taking them 15 years ago, I'm 48 and didn't have any breakouts anymore even when I stopped. Now I think being perimenopause I started to have some indication of my old acne coming back, not as bad though, just a couple of pimples here and there that have that different look from the common acne, my question is I didn't know they still made the Diane 35 and, here in the States, when I took it I was leaving in SAmerica and I thought they didn't make it here. Do you have it order from your dermathologist or the obgyn?
I also was told that they are risky, well so far I have all my gynecological tests come back normal and a few cysts I have in my breasts dissapeared when I took the Diane. So I would say so far so good.
