Recently my Check Engine light came on my 2000 Mazda B3000 pickup truck. I got diagnostics done at AutoZone and code "P1405 Manufacturer Control Auxilary Emissions Controls" came up. From everything I have gathered there is a blocked hose in my EGR Valve or a damaged EGR sensor. This would make sense as my truck has trouble accelerating/decelerating in low gears and feels as if a hose could be blocked. At first I thought it was my Cat Converter for these reasons. Any recommendations for fixing this problem? Should I take it to the dealership or is this one I could do on my own? Thanks for any advice.
