Dexter killed Liddy in this episode and he was aiming to kill Quinn. Why doesn't he feel a single bit of remorse because Liddy and Quinn don't fall into the category of people who he kills.
And I also don't understand why Liddy pulled a knife at Dexter after he was kicked. Wasn't he trying to get a confession from Dexter? Stabbing him might have killed him and led him farther from his goal which is to go back to the police force. For a character who appeared clever and calculated the entire season, that was rather dumb.
