Deviant art help?

It says I have one message. I click on the "1 message" icon.

it says "Miscellaneous". It said somebody added my art to there collection.. What do I do now? Do I accept it in some way or just leave it alone? When ever i leave, I keep seeing the "1 message" thingy. What do i do?
 
You click the little cross next to it. it deletes the message, unless you want to keep it.
 
Click the X next to it or click on "remove all". Then it is good to click "update message centre". This will update everything because sometimes when you delete, it may not recognize that you've deleted it. When someone adds your piece to a collection or favorites your piece, I usually like to go to their profile page or the page of the collection and post a comment saying thanks.
 
you can either ignore/delete it, or click on that person's profile and thank them if you'd like. Adding your art to a collection is pretty much adding it as a favorite. :]
