Yet their superintendent has a $280,000 salary.

Does anyone else think something is wrong here?

this is from 2006, but most cities aren't very good either. Any area where it's 50-60% is fucking pathetic. Plus when you look at the numbers some of the bigger cities are even worse

Thanks, I love being a teacher though, one more week and I am off for the summer.

What do you do in the summer?

I know I have in the past, and all you did was cry about how your job performance (or lack thereof) isn't your fault.

My heart goes out to you for that, but do you really think the super has earned a $280k salary?

Yeah, technically. But I wasn't going to complain about that... that's nitpicky even for me.

So is "Detroit Public Schools have ...", for the same reason. Like I said, I just thought it was funny that you correctly used a plural noun as a singular, but didn't nrabroad
ice that so did the threadstarter.

So....your theory here is that the teachers and administration should be held accountable for kids who no doubt only show up for half of their classes?

And then drop out?

So do you care to explain why you believe you're special and shouldn't be subjected to the same expectations of every rabroad
her employee in the first world?

How can you gain the interest of a kid that would rather be out making money or partying?

but i guess Detroit Public Schools is the actual name of the schoolboard there, so it works
