Ok, Icame off suboxone about 3 weeks ago, I was down to 2mg's and still had severe withdrawal and I couldnt work, so I started taking pills again and got hooked on them... Now I was clean on sub for a year, and got my own place and a whole bunch of things that im really close to losing... I dont have the money to get back on sub, or meth.. and I just want to live my life without drugs... So the only thing I can do, is just go through it... What can I do when I wake up or not even sleep, cant take a shower cause its to cold, or anything cause your shivering... WHat can I do or take to ease the process... and how can I motivate myself everyday to do things???.. and I am going to becoming off oxycodone 70mgs a day... im already starting to feel bad and I took my last dose 4 hours ago... what can I do.. I need to be able to work

Spec --I am in the exact same boat as you. I was taking 80 mg of oxy and tried to quit CT. Even though i have done this before, I still didnt want the bad withdrwals because I had to continue to work. I have a BUNCH of experience in this area and you have really only 2 choices. 1) call in sick for the rest of the week or something because it will take till Monday for you to get a grip on this, follow home detox plan and just DO IT. I have done it before and its really not that bad as long as your mind is in the right place. 2) go to a DR and explain that you are addicted to this crap and would he mind offering you a way off. He may give you a tapering program. That is what my dr did yesterday. I am not feeling great but at least I can function. There is really no easy way out of this and we both know that we cant go back. Lets do this together.

Spec....just wanted to say I agree with fullcircle . Great advice, mate! If the WRAB are bad its gonna be real hard to function at work...thoough keep as busy as possible for distration. Physical exercise is supposed to help...something that gets you going..I admit that I havent tried this particularly yet but its something Id give a go. Going on a taper plan is a good idea if its an option for you. You dont have to amke it a long deal if its important for you to came off real quick. It might just help you work though.Anyways ,let us know how you're getting on

Take care...........CC

Exercise and LOTS of HOT baths.....make them as hot as you can stand. It's no fun, but you CAN make it through.

thank u all. tom. will be my first day without anything... i hate calling out.. but im gonna have to.. I have an appt. with the health dept. tomorow to see if they can offer anything to me
