I bought the car in September and have paid three or four thousand dollars in repairs and maintenance (there's no need to tell me how stupid I am for doing that- I already know). There are so many new parts in it, it's ridiculous.
After investing all that money, I threw an engine rod. It blasted right through the oil pan and who knows what else.
It'll cost a fortune to fix it, so I'm just going to get a different car.
I think the most economical approach would be to buy another Escort so I can use the old one as a parts car, but I don't want to drive an Escort anymore. I think I want something cooler.
No one wants to buy a Ford Escort that needs a new engine, so selling this is next to impossible. I could probably get a junkyard to give me $100 for it, but I'll be taking a huge loss.
What can I do?
