Hey guys
Im 15 and an amateur photographer, and Im basically looking for two things.. Ive been on google ebay and amazon for about 990450 hours straight.. looking for a decent D-SLR camera. Moneys real tight right now for just about everybody, including me. So Im not looking for anything too pricey, My parents are generously going to help me out and pay about 2/3 of the price, but Im having so much trouble finding something that costs under a million dollars.
My price range is anywhere from $100-300, which I know is suuuper cheap for an SLR. But like I said, moneys tight. So far all Ive really found is the GE-X5 and the Finepix S1800, but I want more megapixels and more optical zoom.
Im also looking for any sites that hold Photography Contests? The reason I cant find any is because most of the contests are for photography thats simply out of my league. Though.. I dont want to compete with people less experienced than me. Im not saying Im some professional, but I do have some what of talent that I would like to be judged.
Re-reading all of this makes me sound especially picky, and I want to apologize in advance for that. I just have such a passion for photography and want to make things as accurate and precise as possible.
