If I let someone ride my duc I always ask if they can afford to fix it if they wreck it. They get the picture and ride it easy.

Sorry folks. Only people to ride my bikes are my brother who owns a 1098 and a Road King (can afford to cover damages), the desmo tech at my shop (across the lot and on post service shake downs), and my wife. I trust her with the kids....so I guess i can trust her with the bike......

It's been kept quiet but i was at Putnam Park for the post Moto-GP track day when Cook Neilson low sided DNA's Desmosedici. It was weird(almost reverent), there were lots of people there with cameras myself included but not a single person took a photo as he limped it back in. The damage wasn't quite as bad as what's posted here but you could see people cringe as he rode by with the left side all scraped up and tufts of grass clinging to the rearsets and swingarm. Brian Catterson and Aaron Frank from Motorcyclist magazine where there for a 1098R-VS-Desmocedici article and photo shoot, last i heard they were being blamed for shagging the Desmo's tires which might have been instrumental in Neilsons' crash.
