desktop cannot connect to the internet via router, but laptop and ps3 can

connect. Whats going on? I have a netgear WGR614v7 router and I have had it for almost a complete year now. I have the ps3 and the desktop wired to the router, and the laptop is connected to the router via wireless. I reconfigured the router several different times and the ps3 and laptop still connect to the internet, but the desktop still is not getting an IP address. How can I fix this without getting a new router?
