design copyright necessary?
if i make some by my own design on my computer and post it to a website like cafepress.com for earning money,without getting it copyrighted from government,then what are the possibilities?
i know that i will not be able to prove easily that a person has copied it unless i register the copyright with govt........
BUT my main question is "can it get even worse"?
assume that if that person somehow comes to know that i have not copyrighted it by govt.,then after copying my design,can he get that design registered from govt. and then do a case on me only for infringement?
