Hi, ive got a Discriptive writing essay, due monday about a saturday night in A + E, here is it so far:
Telephones ring and pagers bleep. Staff moves with speed and purpose. The sound of ambulance sirens echoes throughout the hospital and trolleys dash down the narrow corridor to greet them. Patients scream in pain. The aroma of cleaning products fill the air and nervous people pace forward and back waiting to be called in. Doors swing and doctors call out for there next patient whilst paramedics rush down with a new injured man. People are sitting anxiously waiting for test results. A drunk sits, singing a song. ‘Is daddy going to better?’ A girl cry’s to her mother. Doctors walk turns into a sprint after seeing an ambulance pull up. A group of worried people run down the corridor like runners racing to the finish line. Patient’s minds are unquiet. The crisp white blankets on the beds fold back as a new patient gets out of bed in agony. The fake cheery voice of the nurse with piercing blue eyes and flushed cheeks fill the air.
