Derren Brown Live: Hero at 30,000 feet, C4 10pm

The programme would have looked a lot more convincing if the supposed hidden camera shots actually looked like they were from hidden cameras. I suppose when he was on the plane and that other passenger behind him was clearly filming him he thought 'oh great someones filming me now thats all i need, someone laughing at my expense.

You're off on a tangent again. And a steep one at that. I'll add a bit to help you,

" Nope, I think people just don't like to see their fellow human beings having the wool pulled over their eyes and believing it (beyond a bit of harmless fun). AND SANCTOMONIOUSLY TRYING TO CONVINCE US ALL THAT IT'S REAL "

Does this help.

Are people STILL talking about this pile of shit?! Give it a rest! Just let the dust settle and leave it alone! He'll have a new show on at some point and you can all obsess over that till your heart's content!

Agreed. LOL. :D

The only possible thing that could have improved this pile of tripe would have been Nicolas Cage storming down the gangway of the plane up to the cockpit, (long greasy hair flying about) and announcing in a completely non-cheesy voice "I'll land this damn plane...."

Don't suppose Ch4's budget would quite stretch to that though. Shame. :o

It's noticable that those who are under the spell of this nonesense are not addressing any of the simple logical quesitons that are being asked in this forum.

Here's another for you to ponder. Which airline in the Western World these days is not under strict guidelines that prevent members of the public, or even cabin crew, entering a plane's cockpit ? Answer = none. Now before the believers say 'it was an emergency situation'...let me head that one off by asking you to decipher the fact from fiction for a moment and recall that it wasn't ever an emergency, it was acted, and we were told it was being acted.

So, the only way Matt or the crew could have got into cockpit was if that part was filmed when the plane was on the ground. Did they have the wool over his eyes on this too ?

No i dont. I just didnt see the question. It wasnt magic.Or rmentalism in the magic sense of the word, hypnosis and sublimal persuasion is used by mentalists though.

You do make assumptions.
That is a possiblity of course, and the link on his blog is a bit odd. I will endeavour to find out about that.
