Dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon

I am trying to find out if a dermatologist or a cosemtic surgeon would be best for removal of acne scaring. I have a few deep "ice pick" scars.
Would the cost be the same with either one? Which one would be most experienced in this type of removal?
 
I would say a cosmetic surgeon would be more qualified. But be sure you find out all the info you need before taking the plunge. I have not heard of many success stories. Ice pick scars are very difficult and require a long time to treat. They aren't something that can be removed 100% with just one or two procedure. It's something that heals over time, a very long time.
