Deposition of a minor for a civil trial, what are the laws?

My lawyer wants to bring in my child's father's other son, who is 15 for a deposition in our paternity/custody case. The 15 year old's maternal grandparents have had custody of him since he was an infant, he has visitation with his dad every other weekend. I'm wondering who can be present during this deposition. I'm afraid if his father is sitting there that he will be more likely to lie for his dad. I think if the grandparents were with him it might actually increase the chances that he'd be honest. How do these things tend to work? In MO.
