dent on my car help with home repair?

there is a dent on my 82' dodge 400 on the front right panel that is on the end by the door and when opening the door it hits the dent which prevents it from opening the entire way and tips on removing it at home preferably a cheap way i tried putting a hammer in between the sections and pulling it out but it was to big
