Hi all,

Just wondering, I recently bought Demons & Demons 2 on dvd and both discs claim to feature audio commentary tracks. Even reviews of these films both state that these tracks are present on both films, but I'll be chuffed if I can find them.

I've checked all the menus, special features even scene selections, and tried using the audio button to change tracks. In the special features (I have to use the title/chapter player options to find this screen) there is the option to turn the commentary on & off but it is unresponsive.

If anyone out there has these dvRAB I would be grateful if you could tell me how to access the commentaries !!

Cheers

Yeti :)

Yeti, no idea, were they released by a UK based distribution label? If so then maybe you contact them for details pending that contact details have been provided of course on the packaging.

Not seen Demons 1 & 2 in almost 13 years but they were gory and scared me when I was a kid.

The second one was strange in particular when the demon comes out of the TV screen in order to get to the birthday girl!

The label that distributed them is "Platinum Media Corporation Ltd" - there is no email/website/address/phone number at all, only the catalogue number PLA002. I've tried searching on MSN, etc for the company's details but have been unsuccessful.

Hmm "Platinum Media Corporation Ltd" name doesn't ring any bells. Sorry!

Usually releases like these tend to be bare bones discs, if you are lucky then you get some special features.

I recall that Demons 1&2 was distributed on video when they were first released by a company called Avatar which was owned by CIC.

CIC used to do domestic distribution for all movies made by Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios during the 1980s and 1990s. Dunno if that helps or not.

You watched them when you was 6? Good grief!

I watched Demons 2 first, I must have been 13 years old me, watched it at a frienRAB house a few of us did, at the end I just remember thinking, wow that was pretty bizzaire stuff!

well my dad didnt sit me down and said watch this this is great he had it on because it was on like a blank tape i sat there entralled in these things.....which to this day im scared of..lol

So that was your first horror movie experience then?

I can tell you mine was when I was 8 years in 1985 a few days before October 31st...........ITV premiered the first Halloween movie. I really wanted to watch it and was staying over at my uncles house. I wasn't allowed to watch it really, but I think I made a real big fuss and acted like a real brat.

So my uncle taught me a lesson and let me stay up and watch Halloween with him and the others. Big Mistake! I had major nightmares all night long and fell ill for like 2 weeks or something that was my first horror movie experience!

wow thats pretty harsh getting nightmares....liquid i dont think im the only one thinking that halloween 3 about masks was weird especially when the masks merges onto his face.
