simple...

This was just a rookie congressman trying to stir the pot and generate publicity for his next political campaign

It was a typical liberal-style political hit-piece sound-byte to smear people he doesn't have the wits or facts to debate.

It was something said in hatred and malice, without a single basis in fact or reality.

I wish Democrats were better people, but...

You'll notice that idiot did not back up his accusations with any fact. The Democrats never do. They just hurl names and show cute little placards with inflammatory statements on them. Their tactics are really getting old.

Oh my God, you go to the University of Miami? What's your name? What year? I might know you. Hecht-Pentland 406.

Is your roommate named Antoine? He did say he was roomed with a Conservative.

But yes, what's meant by the term "die quickly" is that Conservatives are essentially hoping that those without health insurance will die quickly enough so that they don't become any additional burden of the system, rather than opting to cover them.

I am an incurably terminally ill disabled man. This year the Texas death panel sent me a letter cutting off my medicaid. It seems my $939/month income makes me too rich to deserve help. Now I can't prolong my life with treatment my Dr. says I absolutely must have. Texas is a GOP controlled state. How can you possibly deny that Republicans want me to "die quickly" to save money. By the way, did you know that the prescription drug benefit helps many people who don't need the help, but made things worse for the disabled?

Maybe it was a bit over the top, but let's be real. Actual Americans actually do die because they have no HEALTH INSURANCE. Many folks still get insurance through their employer, but that kind of benefit is going away as we speak. Employers are also laying off people and that's a trend that isn't going to stop...the US is a debtor nation now, not the 'richest country in the world', and is rapidly becoming a colony of trans national corporations that manufacture in China and sell finished goods in the US. The result is that the middle class, both blue and white collar are simply not in a position to purchase retail health insurance anymore. Evidently the GOP has cut a deal with the commercial insurers to do what they can to keep them in business...and to do that insurers need to keep as many paying customers as they can. In return for their help, politicians get 'contributions'. No big mystery there. A 'public option', being far less expensive than any commercial insurance would take away a large chunk of their potential client base. Bummer for them. But times have changed and we simply can't allow people to go without HEALTH INSURANCE. The HEALTH CARE side of the equation can't treat many more non-payers..as it is many ER have closed because of non-payment..you can check this out. Bottom line...the GOP is on the wrong side of history and reality. No insurance kills. That's the future unless we do something now.

Don't get sick.
If you do, you got no health insurance like 40 million so,
You die quickly

It is rhetorical. You can look that up in a dictionary with the word DEMONRAT
