Dell Media Direct prohibits my laptop from starting.?

Upon Startup, I get a Dell Media Direct screen that says Welcome to Dell Media Direct...Building your Dell MediaDirect files... After about a minute, the screen changes and says Dell MediaDirect Express cannot access your hard drive, suggests that I need to disable bitblocker????? The Windows OS never starts. Anybody have any suggestions???
