I have been a PC user my whole life and bought my first iMac about four months ago and plan on never turning back to PCs ever again after my experience with this beauty. However I am lost on how to do some things with this.
I checked my hard drive space today and out of the 500GB of space, I only have 85GB available. Now aside from my music (65GB) and some misc files totaling probably an additional 10GB, I have no idea where the rest of this space is coming from!
I have no idea how to find out where all of this space is being taken from or how to uninstall certain programs to free space up. Now, 85GB is plenty of space and the computer runs just fine but I think I can free a lot of space up and I just need help figuring out how to find out where all this is being taken up from and what I can do to stop it.
So can someone help me out here?! How do I find out where all this space is being taken and how do I delete a program entirely?
