Okay, I am giving my old computer to my friend, and I wanted to wipe the Internet history clean. He needs most of my other files, so I don't want to reformat the memory. I deleted all of the cookies, and the files under the tools and internet options section. However, when I go to type in various sites in the address bar, the rest of the url continues to appear. I even downloaded CCleaner to help, but it still didn't all go away. So, my question is how to get rid of the sites that remain even after I have deleted their cookies.
I already deleted the browsing history from the int options bar...Still there.
