Deleting a file off of a Verizon EnV touch?

My retarded self managed to put a .pdf file on my phone and now i can't delete it. How would i? i have right click>delete but apparently the file is read-only. i have also tried to format the phone, and move the file off of it to My Documents. Anybody have any ideas on what to do and/or try next?
