sociology is part of soc sci.
socio studies one aspect of society, community. soc sci covers psychology, politics, anthro, part of philo, soc work etc
career wise - if in general administrative jobs, supervisory level - no diff.
employers look at the BA not so much the subject when specialty in the job is not required or it makes no diff. arts graduate r taken in for their ability to analyse and perform well in bureaucracies, governance and critical thinking
www.virtuesproject.com will help us improve our powers of reasoning
all the best

I'm finishing my BA but can't decide between "Sociology" and "General Social Sciences". Are there more career options with one major over the other? What is the biggest difference between the two?
