Definition of the "Dawn of civilization"?

Can anyone define for me what the term 'dawn of civilization' means? And does this paragraph make sense:

"Human perseverance has withstood the test of time, from the days of independent tribes to the era of colossal empires that encompass the globe. We call this the dawn of civilization for a reason. . "
 
The term is suppose to mean the time when man began to interact for the good of all, not just for the good of themselves. Community life was better than individual existence..
 
Agriculture brought on the "dawn of Civilization" but we don't know when the 1st nomadic tribe decided to fore go their seasonal migration & plant grains instead (sometime after animal husbandry). Because the tribe spent less time traveling & foraging they could improve their dwellings and spend leisure time together. Obviously other tribes noticed this & emulated their more prosperous contacts.
We don't know how many fledgling civilizations sprouted & then were wiped out for the food they grew or abandoned the project due to some climatic change, but by about 6000 BC the sun rose on Civilization & it became a permanent establishment of human kind.
 
i think it means the beginning of a civilization.

your paragraph makes a little sense. the first part sounds like u are saying we have grown as a civilization over the years. but i do not see how it would be the dawn of civilization...
