The problem here is that the emancipation is automatic when any of three factors are involved--- you join the military, you are married or if you become the age of the majority. In WA state the age of the majority is 18. Therefore I do not have to go in front of a court, nor do I have to provide information to the Fin Aide office. Thanks for the input though!
