The default double-click action for some of my folders has been changed to explore the file and not to open it. It is strange that is has only happened to some folders and I cannot figure out how to change it back.
For example: When I double click on the folders that are set to explore the folder instead of open, a window pops up telling me that the file type doesn't have an associated program with it. Also, when right clicking on these folders, 'Explore' is bold instead of 'Open'. Help!
PS. I ran a virus scan with both avg free, and symantec endpoint protection, I did a system recovery to before when the problem started, and I did a sfc/scannow search. Nothing was found.
