decorative paint designs for bedrooms?

im 12 years old and im repainting my room. i wanted to do something unique on 2 of the walls. i wanted to splatterpaint but my stupid dad said it would leave "bumbs". im a bright and outgoing girl and i always love to be different so if u have any ideas or even any websites that can help with ideas that would be great! thanks so much again!!
 
i think it would be cool if you painted the walls light aqua and then made swish marks to look like ocean waves, in sea foam green, silver, white, nave, blue, and turquoise. then, you could like, put glitter on the painted waves. that would be really pretty. im 13, and those are my fave colors. you could probally do a variation with purple or red or whatever. good luck with your room!
