Decorating ideas for 1920s themed winter formal?

So we're having a Winter Formal (ASB Ball) in february and its going to be on a boat. The theme is vintage-1920s. and we're having trouble thinking of how to decorate. because its on a boat, there's not too much to decorate. but our colors are black, ivory and gold. we're using gold gossamer and having string pearls hanging around the ballroom. but we're having trouble thinking of centerpieces and other decorating ideas. our budget is around $3000? ideas are appreciated!
